Bring the Changemaker programme to your school

Then apply now with your class to take part in the Changemaker Programme at the University of Graz!

The Changemaker Programme offers primary school pupils the opportunity to be accompanied by students from the University of Graz on their entrepreneurial journey from brainstorming to the development of a prototype and the final sale on a market day.

To this end, students from the University of Graz will come to your class in teams of two or three and support you in the implementation of the programme.

The programme procedure is as follows:

• You get to know the students in a Connect appointment on 3 March 2025 and discuss the entry requirements at your school and for your class. At this meeting, you will arrange 2 half-day workshop dates during which the students will work with your class on the topic under your supervision.
• Between March and the end of April, the students will conduct 2 half-day workshops with your class.
• You create products with your class for a market day on 27 May 2025 at the University of Graz and prepare a market stall with your students.
• You and your class will take part in the market day at the University of Graz in May, where you will again be supported by the student team.
• Your students will also have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the campus.
• Finally, the students will come to your class once again for a reflection session with your students. At this meeting, they will also discuss how the students would like to deal with the profits they have made.

The Changemaker programme was originally developed at WU Vienna. Due to the positive response in Vienna, the programme is now being rolled out across Austria. The Centre for Entrepreneurship and the Institute for Business Education at the University of Graz are bringing the Changemaker Programme to Styria.

In cooperation with the Institute for Business Education, we are working in particular to ensure that the programme is implemented in a child-friendly way.
