The "Changemaker Programme" is a unique programme that, thanks to its cross-sectoral design and the establishment of different partner networks (universities, educational partners, schools), enables learning together and from each other throughout Austria.
The basic idea of the programme is to promote the entrepreneurs of tomorrow today. With the Changemaker programme, the Centre for Entrepreneurship, together with the Institute for Business Education, gives students at the University of Graz the opportunity to accompany primary school pupils on their entrepreneurial journey from brainstorming to developing a prototype and the final sale on market day.
The focus is on making entrepreneurial thinking and action tangible for children through applied project work in order to arouse interest and strengthen self-confident participation in business and society. On this trip, the children gain their first experience of division of labour, teamwork and project management. In addition, students and teachers also benefit from our programme as extended target groups.
The Changemaker programme was originally developed at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and is now to be rolled out across Austria. The University of Graz is one of the first universities to adapt this programme regionally and offer it in Graz and the surrounding area.
